For all standard devices, switches and GFCIs, our box extenders comply with the NEC Article 314.20 for set back boxes.

Our new heavy duty, COMMERCIAL-GRADE Box Extender with a galvanized steel support plate! As shipped, the single gang BE1XLS and double gang BE2XLS works with maxi cover plates, but it’s TRIMMABLE for use with midi and standard plates. Convenient. Saves time. Great for poorly cut drywall.

Arlington's non-conductive box extenders extend set back metal or non-metallic electrical boxes up to 1-1/2", the easy way! Our box extenders have a slightly larger flange that provides extra device support when the wall opening is miscut or oversized. They accommodate midi and jumbo cover plates, and are trimmable for use with standard plates.

BE1, BE2, BE3, BE4...Single-, two-, three- and four-gang, and BE1R for round or octagonal boxes...
